Description:

The single point mooring chain stopper specified in the standard CBT3672-2016 is suitable for oil tankers, Chemical tanker, liquefied gas tanker, etc. The surface of all castings of the single point mooring chain stopper should be smooth to prevent excessive wear of the chain links. In addition, the movable parts need to be coated with lubricating grease, and the remaining parts should be covered with paint after spraying with anti-rust primer. The single point mooring chain stopper must undergo strict quality inspection before leaving the factory. The welding of each part must meet the requirements of the classification society. Only after passing the inspection can a certificate of conformity be issued.

A qualified single point mooring chain stopper shall have the following marks:

1. The name or mark of the manufacturer;

2. Model and standard number;

3. Production batch number and production year and month;

4. Safe working load;

5. Inspect the qualified seal.
