Introduction:

Because of the crossbar, JIS stock anchor must be lifted or pulled out at the bow of the ship, which is inconvenient to throw, retract and store, the anchor claw exposed from the soil may be entangled with the surrounding anchor chain, and in shallow water it may damage the bottom of the ship. So JIS stock anchor can be used for small ships and sailboats, as well as stern anchors and long-term mooring anchors, but they are generally not used as bow anchors for ships.
